Sovenaj is the artistic soul of Somaya Everly Najafi. She grew up in a world filled with color, art, and culture, guided by her father’s deep values and her mother’s encouragement. At the age of two, she began drawing. By eleven, she was already creating dresses from bedsheets using her mother’s sewing machine. By fifteen, she was a professional painter. Today, Sovenaj is the refined reflection of Somaya Everly Najafi’s decades of experience in fashion, painting, ballroom design, and couture sewing. After moving to the United States 15 years ago, she continued her fashion studies at FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) and Los Angeles Trade Technical College, deepening her expertise in couture and high-end fashion.
Over the years, she has dressed dancers, celebrities, and elegant women with the same care and passion that first led her to this path. She has worked alongside celebrity stylists, solving couture fitting challenges for high-profile clients such as Paris Hilton, Katy Perry, and the Sylvester Stallone family—especially for red carpet and Oscar events.
From art studios to runways, from hand-painted dresses to precision fittings, she brings together grace, strength, and a powerful sense of style.
